Przegląd prac nad stroną Kubuntu / Sneak Peak of the Kubuntu home page

[PL]

I spend today's evening working on the Kubuntu web page. I want to show you some of my work and tell you a bit about the status of the page from my, artwork side and from the code side. If it comes to artwork, i'm almost done. Some of the screenshot are still missing and the text is incomplete, but i'm working on it, so don't worry. I still need to write about development tools for Kubuntu like Kdevelop, Qt Creator, etc. Yes, we will have that, too. :D It shouldn't take me lot of time, but you know, i have to work, have to meet my friends and girlfriend and i want to have some free time for myself. So it may take some time. Anyway, i think the best time to release the new page will be the release of Kubuntu 11.04. This will be  great to have two new things then just one. And we will have more time to polish the page. What's still missing are the screencasts and manuals. Screencast i will have to do myself. Same for manuals. I recived some texts and i want to say THANK YOU for every one who helped me with that. They only need some reorganizations. :) I've already have a template for the screencasts.

If it comes to development, we got new dev. Wojciech Ryrych is working on the slideshow part with cool animations. Our other dev, eMyller is working on the HTML5 video player. We don't want flash, right? But we will have to. Not all browsers support html5 yet. For flash we will have youtube, so don't worry if you use html5 compatible browser. The main dev, Ofir Klinger has just finished the navigation structure. The general template of the page is done, too. He's now busy with implementing all the subpages and fill them with images, text, icons, etc.

Ok, end of talking. See what we've got for  ya:

@ Valorie: Thank you and you're welcome :) I think that english versions are welcome and it's better then Google translator :D
